Going to answer two predicted number 1 questions, first of all.
1) Why another Kissmet?
A) I honestly felt in-spite of the best efforts of both players and the DMs come and gone, Kissmet could have always been More, more in-depth, more meaningful a game time, the environment, the module itself didn't really support that, but it was still a good module that i had some good times on. as the saying goes "dont like it, hack(change) it", so i did and i am.
2) Whats different between this and KinkyKingdom?
A) To be truthful when i heard the background of Kissmet, Yosh made it for him and his IG mistress, both of whom loved two things, BDSM and vampires, i thought "yeah great!" .. and then i logged in.
And i found a module that was essentially, 'made' by the players that we're there, it seemed very little ICwise the place you'd find vampires and.. besides a lot of sundials and the occasional shackles, also not much a place where slavery and BDSM went on.
regardless a good time was had by me and some others, a year or two goes by and I start messing round with various modules, Kissmet is reborn,
The Kissmet of PRC Kissmet has a darker atmosphere, night starts earlier and ends later, characters can take part in the cogs and gears of a town by buying the resources you'd expect a town would need and bringing them back to Kissmet to sell for higher, There's already more support for group adventures, The Town crier (atm in centre only) is a way to gather a group for an adventure.
And of course classes like Psion, Spellsword, Warlock, Bowman, Archmage, Elemental Savant and the like (more than 150 new classes, base and prestige) the PRC really does set PRC Kissmet apart from the updated original.
PRC Kissmet is still a work in progress, the Black Blazon campaign has work to be done on it, some of the DB has to be redone from scratch (though housing now works), more of the 'resources to market' tasks have to be added, but prior to that the priorities are getting in crafting, (both ordinary and exclusive items), and the 'achievements' system (a way to earn titles by doing things in/for/against the town).
Spoiler alert:
The achievements system will be a factor in determining the next king/queen.

A brief guide:
The first and most important thing before even logging on is having the NTFM attitude, the NTFM attitude is basically about relaxing and having a good time playing a game with others, its not about anger or stress or elitism, its about having No Time For Muppets, no time at all, better things to do because there's a game to be played and many of us don't have 24/7 to play it.
once you've got the NTFM attitude of chilling out having fun in concert with other people, blowing off those who seek otherwise without being nasty about it, come on in.
The OOC area has changed, the Character body tailors are now there, and also there's the PRC Character creator conversation, This, is a reimplementation of the normal character creation, so if your going to use a PRC base class, just click recommended/anything while making your char, you'll get to redo the stats/class/feats again, PLEASE avoid changing your characters appearance in that conversation, use the body tailor, only one person at a time can use the PRC CCC, you'll be booted once the convo's finished (this is normal and you'll be informed).
log back in and away you go, Immigration is a good first port of call if you've never been on a Kissmet server, The Adventurers guild is a good place for basic equipment (and shortly quests/tasks, keep an eye out for the guild head).
be sure to make use of the town crier in centre, adventuring is always more fun with others however soloing is more than possible and not at all a problem, try to stay In Character as much as possible, even if your faced with someone determined not to be, don't stress, just play your character, many modern day slang or references would be madmans gibberish to someone from the feudal age Forgotten Realms.
Be sure and explore, not everything is 'on hand' some of the tasks that can get your character gold without combat, take some walking and finding.
Above all have fun.
